Everyday something and anything crosses our path. At a certain moment, we''ll have to make a choice. Typically there will be two choices. The easy choice and the hard choice. I always believed that only the hard choice required a will to choose it. While the easy choice doesnt even require any effort or second thoughts.
With time my prospective started to change, which ever choice we make it is a choice we make with our will. There is no doubt about it. The only difference is our mind set at the moment and why we choose something over the other.
Sometimes forcing ourselves to take the hard choice can have a firing back effect. Though typically it would be the right choice. So I'd think that technically, the will of choice is determined by the goals you are aiming for, how far they go. What lies beyond them and also the side effects that can be caused from making that choice. And cant forget any sort of external pressure, assumptions or predictions that can alter an indivisuals personal thought...

whether difficult or easy , as long as you believe you're making the 'right' choice then nothing else should really matter.
I agree, the choice you are supposed to take depends on what you are looking ahead!
nabhan: yes, the right choice. But what makes the right choice the right choice.
nightface: exactly...
"Never trust second thoughts. Next thing you know there'll be a third and a fourth...you'll be thinking forever!"
sometimes u just need to believe and have faith. that what ever u choose is ur path not necessarily the right thing but what ur heart/mind/soul whatever has set out to do. trust in that and u'll do fine
your insistance makes ur choice right! Doesn't it?
If u have doubts choose the first thing that comes to ur mind... keep ur second thoughts for alternatives ;) ... there also has to be a plan [B] u know! Is at least what I think :)
you can't know if the choice you are making is right or wrong. because you don't know how it will affect you in the future, no matter how far you plan.
great post!
wicked: True a doubt of thought, could reflect badly. Though I meant the choices here. The initial thought itself.
tripletee: insistance? Possible, but I wouldnt agree on it precisely. To make a choice, you would require a focus of thoughts and heart. It could be a momentarily choice at the spot. Or one that takes you time to make. But I totally agree the instinct choice could normally be the right one.
allured: True, but again its which choice we select, the hard or easy one. And not knowing the future doesnt mean we shouldnt thing beyond and plan for it. With no plan there is no point of making a choice, flipping a coin would be the easier way for it. Living randomly is possible. But that's not our purpose to live to start with.
